Good afternoon, Residents of Muchland!!! Welcome back to another edition of Weekly Update.
Leading things off this week is an update about Saturday Showcase… We’ve had some great authors stop by to spend their Saturdays with us, but lately I’ve not had the time to dedicate to getting with authors and getting them scheduled, so Saturday Showcase will be going on hiatus for the time being. Hopefully in the future we can bring it back and make it a must-see event, but for now I’m focusing on projects coming up, including the First Anniversary of Live Writes at the Bistro, and the release of RAZOR’S EDGE (KGM #5) in September.
I’m currently going through line edits on RAZOR’S EDGE. The cover reveal is scheduled for the next SLP Partners & Followers Group Party at the end of the month. I’ll have more details on that as it gets closer.
This evening, at 9PM EST, I’ll be doing a quick takeover in the Apostrophes & Double DDs Group to celebrate the release of Fredd Carroll’s new book, THE ADVENTURES OF LEFT-EYE LAZY. It’s a kids’ book, first in a projected series, and is geared toward middle-school-agers (is that even a word/ phrase? I don’t know…) Anyway, I’ll be talking about a couple of cool projects that help kids connect with books, so you don’t want to miss it!
